FOKI BEACH
Below the traditional taverna lies the olive tree lined crystal clear beach of Foki.
Swim out to the sea cave & jump from the 10 metre drop into the Ionian blue waters. Paddle boarding is particularly nice here as it is often the most calm of all the bays in this area.
ALATIES BEACH
Often spoke of as the best sunset in Kefalonia.
Pretty semi- sandy Alaties beach named after the Greek for ‘salt’ which has been harvested in the traditional way by locals for generations from the salt pans dotted along this rugged outcrop.
Take your shoes for a walk over the white rocks. Breathe in the wild sea of this western coastline, with its crashing waves & hidden sunbathing spots.
AGIA JERUSALEM
Named after the small chapel on the beach. With two bays and a small island to discover. Take the canoe and row off to the seclusion of Jerusalem island or while away the afternoon at family run Odysseus taverna with mama still cooking delicious local food & Odysseus serving Gin from his vast collection.
EMPLISI BEACH
Endless blue sky bleeds into the blue Ionian Sea here at Emplisi.
Encompassed on both sides by dramatic limestone rock headlands with a bright white pebbled beach. Swim in It’s crystal clear waters and immerse yourself in the beauty of this special bay.
